- → Where do I get bubblegum syrup?
- Check candy stores, baking aisles, or online shops for bubblegum-flavored syrups. Some coffee supply stores have them, too!
- → Can I use a different flavor?
- For sure! Switch out the bubblegum syrup for something like cotton candy, cherry, or blue raspberry. They'll still turn out great.
- → How long will my slices last?
- Keep them airtight at room temperature, and they'll stay good for up to a week. Use parchment paper between pieces to keep them from sticking.
- → Can I make these without animal products?
- Regular marshmallow fluff isn’t vegan because it has gelatin. But you can use plant-based marshmallow cream, which you can find online or in health stores.
- → What if it’s too sticky to work with?
- Mix in more powdered sugar, small amounts at a time, till it’s easier to handle. You can also chill it for 15 minutes to firm it up a bit.
- → Can I decorate the slices?
- Absolutely! Sprinkle colorful toppings before chilling, or coat the edges in sugar crystals. Drizzling white chocolate on top looks great too.
