Turn a few pantry basics into a pasta meal that packs in flaky salmon, creamy parmesan, and just-wilted spinach. It's easy, fast, and tastes like a treat from a fancy spot—done in around half an hour.

Every noodle hugs the rich sauce and those soft salmon bits practically melt in your mouth. At my place, everyone's always asking for it again and again.

Irresistible Ingredients

  • Fresh Garlic: The starting point for savory, fragrant flavor
  • Parmesan: Grate straight from the block for the creamiest melt
  • Heavy Cream: Gives you that dreamy, smooth sauce
  • Pasta: Go for a shape with nooks to catch the sauce
  • Spinach: Brightens up the meal, sneaks in extra nutrition
  • Salmon Fillets: Pick bright, fresh cuts for the best taste

How to Whip It Up

Final Mix:
Toss flaked salmon and pasta with your sauce, then finish with a pop of lemon zest.
Greens Time:
Gently fold spinach in until it softens and keeps its color.
Sauce Magic:
Sweat the garlic in your pan then stir in cream and parmesan until smooth.
Searing Salmon:
Sear your seasoned salmon so it's crisp outside but stays juicy.
Pasta Prep:
Boil your pasta just shy of done and hang on to some of that pasta water.

This meal takes me back to Seattle kitchens with salmon caught that morning. Seafood and creamy sauces just go together there.

Awesome Sides

Pair it up with crusty garlic bread, some roasted asparagus, or a cold glass of white wine. A peppery arugula salad with lemon really balances the creaminess.

Fun Twists

Try swapping in scallops or shrimp for the salmon. Go with kale if you want more bite. Toss in sun-dried tomatoes or mushrooms for a little extra oomph.

Easy Storage

Stash the leftovers in a snug container for no more than two days. Heat up gently with a little cream so nothing dries out. If you want to freeze, skip the pasta and just store the rest for up to 30 days.
