French Dip Toasts (Printable Version)

Flavor-packed French dips revamped with garlic Texas Toast, juicy roast beef, melted provolone, and cozy au jus for dipping.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 pound deli roast beef, thinly sliced
02 - 8 pieces of frozen garlic Texas Toast
03 - 1 packet au jus gravy mix
04 - 3 cups cold water
05 - 8 slices of provolone cheese
06 - Optional: A sprinkle of dried parsley for topping

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F and line a baking tray with parchment to make cleanup simple.
02 - Place the frozen Texas Toast on the tray and follow package directions to bake. Flip them during the cooking to get golden edges, usually around 8 minutes.
03 - As the bread is baking, combine the au jus mix with 3 cups of cold water. Prep it according to the package, then let it stay warm on the stovetop.
04 - Once the au jus is warm, add the beef to it. Let the slices soak for a bit and heat up completely.
05 - Lay the cooked Texas Toast back on the baking tray. Put half a slice of cheese on each piece first.
06 - With tongs, grab the warm roast beef from the au jus. Evenly stack it across all 8 pieces of toast.
07 - Add the remaining half slices of provolone over the beef to complete the cheesy layer.
08 - Put it all in the oven again for a few minutes. Heat until the cheese melts and shows a light golden shade.
09 - Take everything out of the oven and, if you like, scatter a little parsley on top. Serve right away with bowls of warm au jus for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Switch up the classic French dip by using crispy garlic toast instead of soft buns.
02 - Keep some extra au jus handy! Dipping is the heart of this dish.
03 - Any good-quality deli beef works great, so pick your favorite brand.
04 - Eat them fresh, while the melted cheese and crunchy toast are at their best.
