02 - 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
03 - 1 pound ground beef, 10% fat
04 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
05 - 1 teaspoon coarse salt
06 - 2 teaspoons olive oil
07 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Roll Topping

09 - 2 teaspoons mustard (Dijon)
10 - 2 tablespoons soft butter
11 - 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
12 - 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

→ Rolls and Cheese

13 - 8 slices of cheddar cheese
14 - 12 Hawaiian-style rolls (1 package)
15 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened

# Steps:

01 - Turn oven on to 350°F (177°C). Set up a baking dish with parchment or foil and spread soft butter on the surface to ensure crisp bottoms.
02 - Warm olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onions until soft and lightly browned (about 5 minutes). Crumble in the ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Get rid of any extra grease, then stir in mayo, barbecue sauce, and seasonings.
03 - Slice the connected rolls horizontally into two halves. Add a layer of cheddar slices, the beef mixture, and another layer of cheese. Put the top half of the rolls back on.
04 - Microwave butter, mustard, and sugar for 25 seconds, then mix. Brush over the rolls, scatter sesame seeds on top, and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Cut into pieces and serve warm.
