Pizza Bagels (Printable Version)

Big, cheesy bagels with a garlicky twist. Topped with pepperoni and herbs, they're the perfect balance of fun and flavor for a fast snack or laid-back gathering.

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic butter spread

01 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
02 - 3 tbsp melted salted butter
03 - A teaspoon of Italian spice blend

→ Pizza bagel base

04 - 6 bagel halves (3 plain bagels, split)
05 - ¾ cup of your favorite pizza sauce
06 - ½ cup parmesan, freshly grated
07 - 1 ½ cups mozzarella, shredded
08 - ½ cup small pepperoni slices or regular ones cut smaller

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Put the halved bagels on a baking sheet covered with parchment, with the cut side looking up.
02 - Grab a small bowl and combine the butter, diced garlic, and seasoning. Use a brush to coat the cut surfaces of the bagels generously with this mixture.
03 - Spoon about 2 tbsp of pizza sauce onto each half, then layer ¼ cup of mozzarella over that. Dot with mini pepperoni slices and sprinkle with a little more Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
04 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and has a slight golden tint.
05 - Take the bagels out and immediately dust them with parmesan and, if desired, add fresh basil. Enjoy them while they’re still warm.
