Stir together warm milk, yeast, sugar, salt, egg, and 1 Tbsp of the melted butter. Add flour until stretchy but firm. Work it for 3 minutes, then cover it and let it sit for an hour to rise.

Combine soft butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar in one bowl until it's smooth.

Stretch dough into a 17x10 rectangle, lay down the filling, and roll tightly. Slice into 8 pieces using floss for neat edges.

Put rolls in a 9x13 pan and let them rise under a cover for 30 minutes. Brush the tops with the left-over butter. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes. Let cool at least 15 minutes post-baking.

Whip the butter, soft cream cheese, and vanilla until creamy. Gradually sprinkle in the powdered sugar and blend fully.

Spread the frosting generously over rolls while they're slightly warm.
