Easter Bark Treat (Printable Version)

This simple no-bake dessert blends chocolate, pretzels, peanuts, and festive candy eggs into one colorful treat. Great for gifting or holiday parties!

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 package (11 oz) milk chocolate and peanut butter chips
02 - 1 package (11 oz) plain milk chocolate chips
03 - 3 tablespoons vegetable shortening (solid)
04 - 1 package (7.2 oz) flat pretzel crisps in the original flavor
05 - 1 cup of salted cocktail peanuts
06 - 1 bag (12 oz) Reese's Pieces Easter Eggs
07 - A handful of pastel sprinkles for decoration

# Steps:

01 - Cover a big baking sheet with a piece of wax paper. Keep it aside for later.
02 - In a heatproof bowl over simmering water, gently melt the peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, and shortening. Give it a stir now and then until it becomes silky smooth.
03 - Spread the pretzel crisps out on the prepared sheet. It's okay if they overlap. Scatter the peanuts on top of the pretzels.
04 - Pour the warm, melted chocolate mixture over the peanuts and pretzels. Use a spoon or spatula to spread it around so everything gets coated.
05 - Push the Reese's Pieces Eggs into the soft chocolate. Sprinkle the colorful sprinkles into the remaining empty spaces.
06 - Let the chocolate firm up completely, then break it apart or use a knife to cut it into smaller chunks.

# Notes:

01 - Keep in a sealed container at room temp for no more than 14 days.
02 - Play around with how you place the eggs for a fun look.
03 - Pack in cute clear bags for gifting during the holiday.
