Tater Tot Wraps (Printable Version)

Warm tortillas filled with crispy tots, spiced beef, and gooey melted cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese—pure comfort in every bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Key Elements

01 - 6 large flour tortillas
02 - 2 cups tater tots from the freezer
03 - 1 pound of ground beef (use turkey or plant-based meat if you'd like)

→ Cheeses & Creamy Add-ons

04 - 1 cup of Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
05 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
06 - 1/4 cup chipotle sauce (adjust the amount as you prefer)
07 - 1/2 cup sour cream

→ Seasonings & Extras

08 - Green onions, chopped (optional)
09 - A little cilantro, chopped (optional)
10 - Diced tomato (optional)
11 - Salt and pepper, to your liking

# Steps:

01 - Follow the instructions on the bag to cook your tater tots in the oven. Get them golden and crispy.
02 - Heat up a skillet on medium heat, then cook the ground beef. Add salt and pepper as it cooks. Drain the grease once the meat is ready.
03 - In a big bowl, toss together the cooked beef, shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, and slightly crushed tater tots. Stir until it's all blended.
04 - Warm up flour tortillas for 10-15 seconds using a microwave or a dry skillet to make them easier to fold.
05 - Take a tortilla, add a big scoop of the filling to the middle, then pour some chipotle sauce and a dollop of sour cream over it.
06 - Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly. Lay it in a baking dish, sprinkle extra cheese on top, and bake it until the cheese melts and bubbles.
07 - Take the burritos out of the oven and top with any extras like cilantro, tomatoes, or green onions. Pair with more sour cream or chipotle sauce if you want.

# Notes:

01 - Microwaving or heating the tortillas makes wrapping a breeze and keeps them from tearing.
02 - You can switch out ground beef for turkey or a meat-free option if that's more your style.
03 - Crushing the tater tots a bit makes them easier to mix into the filling, and they roll better too.
04 - These burritos are packed with tasty comfort food goodness—potatoes, meat, and gooey cheese.
