Buffalo Bake Roll (Printable Version)

Soft pizza dough hugging spicy chicken and melty cheese, baked golden for a cozy dish that hits the spot.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
02 - 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
03 - ¼ cup ranch dressing
04 - 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - ½ cup buffalo wing sauce, split between two uses

→ Dough & Assembly

06 - All-purpose flour for dusting surfaces
07 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
08 - 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, thaw if frozen)

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F. Prep a baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
02 - Mix the chicken with half of the buffalo sauce in a bowl. Add more sauce if you want it spicier or less if you prefer mild.
03 - Combine the ranch dressing and the rest of the buffalo sauce in a small bowl, stirring until smooth and creamy.
04 - Spread some flour on your counter. Roll your dough into a big rectangle, about 12x16 inches, keeping it sturdy enough to roll up later.
05 - Spread the prepared buffalo ranch mixture over the dough, stopping about an inch from the edges. Add the chicken, and sprinkle both cheeses evenly on top.
06 - Start rolling from one long side until you have a log. Pinch and seal the ends firmly so the filling doesn't escape while cooking.
07 - Put the log onto the baking sheet with the seam touching the pan. Use a brush to coat the top with olive oil for a crispy, golden crust.
08 - Place it in the oven for 30 minutes until the outside is golden and it sounds hollow if tapped. Ensure the inside reaches 190°F for proper cooking.
09 - Let it cool down for about 5 to 10 minutes so the filling stays in place. Slice it up and enjoy while warm!

# Notes:

01 - Cut down the heat by using less sauce or swap for a milder hot sauce.
02 - Pinching the ends tightly is key to avoid spills during baking.
03 - Pair it with ranch, blue cheese, or pizza sauce for dipping.
04 - Rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut if you're short on time.
