01 -
Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready to go.
02 -
Take a baking dish that’s medium-sized and scatter your grape tomatoes around in it. Spread them out evenly.
03 -
Put the feta cheese in the middle of the dish, surrounded by those tomatoes.
04 -
Pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil over the cheese and tomatoes. Toss the tomatoes gently so they're nicely coated.
05 -
Evenly sprinkle the salt and Italian seasoning over the cheese and tomatoes.
06 -
Drizzle the last 2 tablespoons of olive oil straight onto the top of the feta.
07 -
Pop the dish into the oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes. The tomatoes should pop open, and the feta should soften and turn golden in spots.
08 -
While the feta is baking, cook your bow tie pasta in boiling water following the instructions on the box. Drain when done and keep warm.
09 -
Take the dish out of the oven. Using a spoon, mash the soft feta and burst tomatoes together until it’s creamy. Toss in the freshly chopped basil and give it all another mix.
10 -
Add the warm pasta into the dish. Stir it in until every piece is coated with the creamy feta and tomato sauce.
11 -
Serve right away. If you want, add some extra basil and fresh black pepper on top.
