Bacon Sliders (Printable Version)

Sweet rolls stuffed with beef, bacon, and cheese—perfect for snacks or sharing at parties.

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Layer

01 - 1 tsp minced garlic
02 - 3 oz cream cheese, diced small
03 - ½ cup BBQ sauce
04 - ½ tsp coarse salt
05 - 2 tsp Dijon mustard
06 - ½ tsp ground black pepper
07 - 1 tsp dried onion bits
08 - 1 lb ground beef

→ Layering

09 - 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
10 - 1-2 packs Hawaiian sweet rolls (1½ packs fit a 9x13 pan)
11 - 1 lb cooked, crumbled bacon

→ Buttery Topping

12 - 1-2 tbsp sesame seeds
13 - ½ cup salted butter, melted

# Steps:

01 - Heat the oven to 375°F and get a 9x13-inch dish ready to use.
02 - Over medium heat, cook the ground beef in a big pan with garlic, sea salt, pepper, and dried onion, breaking it into crumbles until it's no longer pink.
03 - Add the BBQ sauce, mustard, and diced cream cheese into the beef. Stir until everything is melted and smooth. Set aside once combined.
04 - Lay the rolls into the dish, trimming some if needed to fit snugly. Slice off the connected tops and keep them aside.
05 - Keep the bottoms in the dish, sprinkle one cup of cheese all around evenly on top.
06 - Spread the beef mixture evenly across the cheese. Top with the crumbled bacon, and sprinkle the other cup of cheese on top.
07 - Put the tops of the rolls back on. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, mixing sesame seeds into it afterward.
08 - Carefully pour and brush the buttery sesame mix evenly across the top of the rolls.
09 - Wrap the dish tightly with foil and bake it in the oven for 20 minutes, making sure the cheese melts and everything is hot.
10 - Take off the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden. Let it cool a bit before cutting into sliders.

# Notes:

01 - Shred your cheese fresh—it melts smoother and quicker than store-bought shreds.
02 - The cream cheese and sauce pull the beef layers together and add savory flavor.
03 - Using crumbled bacon makes serving easier compared to whole slices.
04 - Brushing butter on top boosts both taste and that perfect toasted look.
