01 -
Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9x9 inch pan with some parchment paper.
02 -
Mix together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder in a bowl.
03 -
Grab a large bowl and beat the softened butter with both types of sugar until creamy using an electric hand mixer.
04 -
Add the egg and vanilla to the creamed mixture. Mix everything until smooth.
05 -
Add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture bit by bit. Stop mixing as soon as they’re combined—don’t overdo it.
06 -
Toss in half of the chocolate chips, half the coconut, and half the almonds. Stir gently to combine.
07 -
Scoop the mixture into the pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the top with extra chocolate chips, the remaining coconut, and leftover almonds.
08 -
Slide the pan into the oven and bake for roughly 20-22 minutes, or until it’s golden and looks set. It’ll firm up a bit more as it cools.
09 -
After cooling, lift it out of the pan and cut into 16 or 9 pieces, depending on the size you prefer.
