Taco Casserole (Printable Version)

A fun take on hand-held favorites like walking tacos or Frito pie. Spiced ground beef layered with corn chips, melty cheese, and topped with fresh ingredients!

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 packet taco seasoning
02 - 1 ½ lbs ground beef
03 - 1 cup shredded taco blend cheese
04 - 2-3 cups Fritos corn chips
05 - 1 cup onion, chopped
06 - 1 can green chilis
07 - 3 oz cream cheese
08 - 1-2 cups shredded lettuce
09 - 1 Roma tomato, chopped
10 - Salsa and sour cream for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and let it heat up.
02 - In an oven-friendly skillet, cook up the ground beef and onion on medium to high heat. Stir until the meat browns and onions turn soft.
03 - Mix in the green chilis, taco seasoning, and cream cheese. Keep stirring until the cream cheese blends in completely.
04 - Spread the Fritos over the mixture and sprinkle on the shredded cheese.
05 - Put the skillet in your oven and bake it for about 20 minutes.
06 - Once baked, take it out and top it off with the lettuce and tomato. Add some salsa and sour cream to finish.
