In a big skillet, crumble and cook the ground beef over medium-high heat. Then, drain off any extra grease.

Put the beef back in the skillet and mix in the ketchup, sugar, barbecue sauce, diced tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix it well so it’s all blended.

Let it simmer on medium with the lid on for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, follow the packet instructions to bake the garlic Texas toast.

Once your toast is ready, scoop the filling onto the slices. Top this with cheddar cheese. If you’d like the cheese golden and melted, give it a couple minutes in the oven.
