# Ingredients:

→ Base Components

01 - 8 ounces of spaghetti (use gluten-free if that's your thing)
02 - 1 pound of ground turkey or beef
03 - 1 cup of diced onions
04 - 3 minced garlic cloves
05 - 2 teaspoons of taco spices
06 - 1 cup of broth (beef)
07 - 1 can (14.5 ounces) of diced tomatoes
08 - 1 small can (4 ounces) of green chilies, diced
09 - 2 teaspoons of soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free folks) (optional)
10 - 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce (look for gluten-free if necessary) (optional)
11 - 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Monterey Jack work)
12 - Add salt and pepper as you'd like
13 - 2 tablespoons of fresh-cut cilantro (can skip)

→ Extras for the Top

14 - Creamy sour cream
15 - Avocado chunks or slices
16 - Green onions, chopped up
17 - More shredded cheese
18 - Fresh salsa
19 - Guacamole

# Steps:

01 - Follow the cooking directions on the spaghetti package. Drain the water and set it aside.
02 - In the meantime, use a big pan over medium heat to cook the ground meat and onion. Cook until the meat looks browned. If there's extra grease, you can drain it out.
03 - Mix in the garlic and taco seasoning. Stir for a minute or so—they should smell really good by the end.
04 - Add the beef broth, green chilies, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce to the pan. Turn the heat up to make it start bubbling, then drop the heat low and let it simmer for five minutes.
05 - Take the pan off the heat, sprinkle the cheese, and stir it around so it melts into the sauce.
06 - Add salt and pepper if needed. Stir in your cooked spaghetti and cilantro, then serve it warm. Add your favorite taco toppings like cream, avocado, or onions.

# Notes:

01 - To crank up the heat, throw in a small chopped jalapeño with your onions.
02 - Want a deeper flavor? Stir in some tomato paste (2 tablespoons) with the garlic.
03 - Need extra protein? Toss in a drained can of black beans.
04 - Richer sauce? Blend in 4 ounces of cream cheese, heavy cream, or some sour cream with the shredded cheese.
05 - Top it off with tasty extras like guac, salsa, or a little more cheese.
