Strawberry Creamy Cake (Printable Version)

This no-sweat cake combines fresh strawberries, creamy cheesecake, and buttered cake mix into an irresistible sweet treat that feels fancy but is so easy.

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Components

01 - 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
02 - 1 cup whole milk
03 - 1/2 cup sugar
04 - 1/2 cup melted butter, unsalted
05 - 15 ounces box of yellow cake mix
06 - 8 ounces cream cheese, brought to room temperature
07 - 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced up

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grab a 9×9 inch pan and either smear some butter on it or spray it lightly with cooking spray.
02 - Using a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar until it's silky and smooth. Leave that aside for now.
03 - In a separate container, mix the cake powder with melted butter and milk. Stir until you’ve got a smooth batter, not too thick, not too watery.
04 - Spoon half the cake batter into the greased pan. Scatter half the strawberry slices over it, then add dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top. Smooth lightly (don’t stress about perfection). Pour over the rest of the batter and finish with the remaining strawberry slices.
05 - Pop it in the heated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the surface is golden and a toothpick poked into the center comes out dry. Let it cool slightly, maybe 15 minutes, before digging in.

# Notes:

01 - The flavor shines brightest with in-season strawberries. If it’s not berry season, use good-quality frozen ones—just let them thaw first and drain the extra juice.
02 - Fancy a citrus note? Toss in a teaspoon of lemon zest with the cream cheese mixture.
03 - This dessert is tasty straight out of the oven with ice cream or after it’s cooled to room temperature.
