Chai Snickerdoodles (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3/4 cup sugar (granulated)
02 - 2 cups plain flour
03 - 1/4 tsp cloves (ground)
04 - 1 tsp cinnamon (ground)
05 - 1/4 tsp nutmeg (ground)
06 - 1 1/4 tsp tartar cream
07 - 1/4 tsp salt
08 - 1 large egg (room temp)
09 - 1 tbsp molasses (use a good quality)
10 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
11 - 3/4 cup butter, melted (unsalted)
12 - 1 tsp vanilla essence

→ Chai Sugar Coating

13 - 1 tsp cinnamon (ground)
14 - 1/4 cup sugar (granulated)
15 - 1/2 tsp allspice (ground)
16 - 1/2 tsp cardamom (ground)
17 - 3/4 tsp ginger (ground)

# Steps:

01 - Warm up your oven to 350°F. Cover two baking sheets with parchment.
02 - Stir together flour, spices, soda, and tartar.
03 - Whisk sugar, molasses, melted butter, and egg until smooth.
04 - Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ones. The dough will seem crumbly.
05 - Blend spices and sugar for rolling. Taste and tweak as you like.
06 - Form dough into 12 balls, roll in sugar mix, and bake for 10-12 mins.
