# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Mixture

01 - 1/2 cup of softened butter
02 - 1 cup white sugar
03 - 4 oz finely chopped dark chocolate
04 - 3/4 cup plain flour
05 - 1/4 cup powdered cocoa (Dutch process)
06 - 2 eggs plus one extra yolk
07 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
08 - 1/2 teaspoon fine salt

→ Topping Add-Ons

09 - 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
10 - 1/2 cup roughly broken pretzels
11 - 1/4 cup salted roasted peanuts
12 - A small handful of crunchy potato chips
13 - 1/4 cup gooey caramel
14 - A sprinkle or two of flaky sea salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Place butter into a microwave-safe bowl and heat. Stir in sugar, then warm it again for 30 seconds. Stir once more and heat for another minute, letting it bubble slightly.
02 - Once warm, mix in the chopped dark chocolate until it melts. If needed, pop it back in the microwave for 15 more seconds. Add the rest of the brownie ingredients, stirring well to blend everything together.
03 - Spread the batter in a parchment-lined square baking pan (8×8 inches). Scatter chocolate chips, pretzel bits, peanuts, and potato chips over the top. Drizzle with caramel and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
04 - After baking, let them cool down for about 20 minutes. Using the parchment, pull them out of the pan. Sprinkle some sea salt on top, cut them into nine squares, and dig in!

# Notes:

01 - These treats bring just the right mix of sweetness and saltiness, with layers of texture that are irresistible.
02 - To make them even better, grab high-quality chocolate and don’t skimp on fresh chips for that crunch.
