Slow Cooker Chicken Casserole (Printable Version)

Layers of cheese, chicken, crispy bacon, and tater tots come together in this cozy slow cooker meal that cooks itself. Great for busy days!

# Ingredients:

01 - Bag of frozen tater tots, 32 ounces
02 - Small bag of bacon crumbles, 3 ounces
03 - Chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, diced, 1 pound
04 - 2 cups of cheddar cheese, shredded
05 - ¾ cup of milk
06 - Salt and pepper for seasoning
07 - Optional spices or seasonings like cajun or blackened mix

# Steps:

01 - Coat the inside of the slow cooker with some cooking spray to stop sticking.
02 - Put half of the tater tots across the bottom of the slow cooker.
03 - Spread out 1/3 of the bacon crumbles over the tots.
04 - Sprinkle 1/3 of the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
05 - Place the diced chicken on top and sprinkle it with salt, pepper, or any seasonings you like.
06 - Add another 1/3 of the bacon pieces and a second 1/3 of the cheese.
07 - Place the rest of the frozen tater tots over everything.
08 - Finish it off with the remaining shredded cheese and the rest of the bacon crumbles.
09 - Pour 3/4 cup of milk evenly over everything.
10 - Put the cover on and cook it on the low setting for 4 to 6 hours. Serve and enjoy!

01 - This dish is a full meal, perfect for evenings when you're short on time.
02 - Using pre-cooked bacon bits makes it faster, but cooking your own and crumbling them adds extra flavor.
