Shrimp Pasta Delight (Printable Version)

Juicy shrimp tossed with pasta in a light, garlicky lemon wine sauce. Perfect for casual nights or when you're hosting.

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta

01 - 12 ounces of spaghetti or linguine

→ Base for Sauce

02 - 1 pound shrimp, cleaned and deveined
03 - 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
04 - 4 tablespoons olive oil
05 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
06 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed chili flakes

→ Seasoning and Sauce

07 - 1/2 cup white wine, dry
08 - The juice from 1 lemon
09 - Add salt, adjust to your taste
10 - Sprinkle black pepper as needed
11 - 1/4 cup parsley, freshly chopped

→ Optional Topping

12 - Grated Parmesan cheese, use if desired

# Steps:

01 - Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until firm and tender. Save a cup of pasta water before draining it.
02 - Melt butter with olive oil, then stir in minced garlic and chili flakes. Cook until it smells amazing—takes about a minute or two.
03 - Place shrimp in the pan. Add a pinch of salt and pepper, then cook for a couple of minutes per side, turning pink.
04 - Pour in the wine and lemon juice, scraping any stuck bits off the pan. Let it bubble for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens a bit.
05 - Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp and sauce. If it seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water. Mix parsley through and serve with optional Parmesan on top.

# Notes:

01 - For a creamy version, mix in some cream
02 - Goes well with toasted bread on the side
03 - Add veggies like spinach or cherry tomatoes if you want
