Tender salmon covered in a sweet, citrus glaze that’s ready to eat in under half an hour. Perfect for weeknights!

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 16 ounces of salmon, cut into fillets

→ Glaze

02 - The juice from one orange (1/2 cup)
03 - 2 tablespoons of honey
04 - 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
05 - 2 minced garlic cloves
06 - Optional: Mix 1 teaspoon cornstarch with 1 teaspoon water

→ Cooking

07 - 1 spoon of butter
08 - Pepper and salt to your liking

# Steps:

01 - Melt the butter in a big skillet on medium to high heat.
02 - Sprinkle salt and pepper onto the salmon. Start with the flesh-side cooking in the hot pan for 3-5 minutes till golden. Flip it and let it cook another 3-4 minutes until the internal heat reaches 145°F.
03 - Move the salmon to a plate, cover it loosely with foil to keep it warm, and lower the heat.
04 - Stir together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and cornstarch slurry (if needed). Pour it into the pan and let it simmer until thick, roughly 30 to 60 seconds.
05 - Put the salmon back in the pan and toss it around so it’s coated in the glossy glaze. Add orange slices to decorate if you’d like.

# Notes:

01 - Cornstarch slurry gives the sauce a thicker, syrup-like consistency.
02 - Store leftovers in a sealed container for no more than 2-3 days.
