01 -
Heat butter in a pot and stir until it turns golden and smells nutty. Let it sit for a bit to cool off.
02 -
Combine both sugars and eggs in a bowl. Whip everything together until you get a fluffy, smooth mixture.
03 -
Pour the cooled butter and vanilla into the whisked sugar mix. Blend until well mixed.
04 -
Slowly work in the flour, stirring carefully. Don't stir too much—just until it's mixed.
05 -
Add the chocolate chips and gently blend them into the dough.
06 -
Either grease your pie dish lightly or cover it with parchment paper.
07 -
Spread half the cookie dough in the pan as a base. Cover it evenly with Nutella. Top with the rest of the dough, pressing the edges to seal. Sprinkle on extra chocolate chips if you’ve got them.
08 -
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for around 35–40 minutes, until the edges turn golden while the middle stays soft.
09 -
Leave it to cool for about 20 minutes. Enjoy it warm with some ice cream or a drizzle of melted chocolate.
