Fast Energy Treats (Printable Version)

Five simple ingredients create these no-bake snacks packed with protein. They're quick, healthy, and require no oven time.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1/8 teaspoon salt, optional
02 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds
03 - 1/4 cup honey, maple syrup, or agave
04 - 1/2 cup peanut butter or an allergy-safe swap
05 - 1 cup quick oats or rolled oats

→ Optional Add-ins

06 - A small handful of mini chocolate chips or raisins

# Steps:

01 - Soften your nut butter if it’s hard to stir by warming it lightly.
02 - Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add the sweetener and nut butter, and stir well until blended.
03 - Form into small ball shapes or flatten into cookie styles.

# Notes:

01 - Keep in an airtight container at room temp for up to a week
02 - Lasts up to 3 weeks in the fridge
03 - Store it in the freezer and use within 4 months
