Chex Minty Crunch Bites (Printable Version)

Chex cereal coated in chocolate and mint, tossed with crushed Thin Mints and powdered sugar. A sweet, crunchy treat everyone craves!

# Ingredients:

→ Essentials

01 - 1½ cups of green mint chips (try Hershey's, Guittard, Wilton's, or plain green Wilton's with mint flavor added)
02 - 1½ cups of either milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
03 - 9 cups of Chex cereal (set apart into two portions)
04 - 1 box of chopped Thin Mints or Keebler Fudge Mint Cookies (split in half)
05 - 3 cups of powdered sugar divided into two parts

# Steps:

01 - Take two gallon-sized zip bags. Fill each bag with 1½ cups of powdered sugar. Put them aside for now.
02 - Use a microwave-safe bowl to melt the green chips by heating in 30-second bursts, stirring in between. It'll take 1–2 minutes. Stir in half the cookie bits and 4½ cups of cereal using a rubber spatula.
03 - Move the mint-coated cereal mix into one zip bag. Seal it tightly and shake until everything's covered. Dump the mix into a big serving bowl and leave it there for now.
04 - In the same bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, following the same 30-second bursts and stirring pattern. Mix the rest of the cereal and cookie chunks into the melted chocolate with the spatula.
05 - Put the chocolate-coated pieces into the second sugar bag. Seal and shake until coated. Pour this into the same serving bowl with the mint mix. Gently stir it all together and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Keep fresh by storing in a sealed container for about a week.
