Italian Meat Sandwiches (Printable Version)

Soft rolls stuffed with Italian meats and cheese, coated in buttery garlic and herbs. Perfect for game nights and get-togethers.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
02 - 1/4 cup melted salted butter (1/2 stick)
03 - 12 Hawaiian rolls (1 pack)

→ Filling

04 - 8 slices of provolone cheese
05 - 1/2 cup diced giardiniera (optional)
06 - 1/2 pound sliced Genoa salami
07 - 1/2 pound thinly sliced pepperoni

→ Topping & Serving

08 - Marinara sauce for dipping
09 - 1 teaspoon of oregano or Italian seasoning

# Steps:

01 - Fire up your oven to 350°F. Slice the rolls lengthwise without separating them, then place the bottom part in a baking dish.
02 - Combine minced garlic and melted butter. Spread half of it on the bottom part of the rolls.
03 - Add layers of pepperoni, salami, provolone, and giardiniera over the bottom rolls. Put the top part back on.
04 - Brush the remaining garlic butter over the top of the rolls. Sprinkle some oregano over it.
05 - Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Let it cook until the cheese is gooey and the tops are golden. You can uncover and bake for a few more minutes if needed.

01 - Great for a party or game night.
02 - Tastes fine without giardiniera if you skip it!
03 - Add marinara on the side for a tasty dip.
