# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 tablespoons butter, separated
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1/4 cup plain flour
04 - 1 pound chicken breasts, no bones or skin

→ Sauce

05 - 1/3 cup honey
06 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (seasoned)
08 - 6 garlic cloves, thin slices

→ Seasonings & Garnish

09 - Green onions for topping, finely sliced
10 - Salt (kosher) to taste
11 - Black pepper, freshly ground, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Melt 1 tablespoon of butter with olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat.
02 - Cut the chicken lengthwise into four thinner cuts. Sprinkle with pepper and salt, then coat each piece with flour.
03 - Brown the floured chicken for 4-5 minutes per side till golden. Take it out of the pan and set aside.
04 - On medium-low heat, melt the leftover butter and add garlic slices. Let them cook for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
05 - Pour in soy sauce and vinegar, scraping up brown bits at the bottom. Mix in honey and season with pepper and salt. Let it bubble for 4-5 minutes to thicken.
06 - Pop the chicken back into the pan. Spoon the sauce over it and heat for 1 minute. Sprinkle green onions on top before serving.
