Creamy Steak Pasta (Printable Version)

A flavorful pasta dish blending juicy sirloin steak with linguine, all swirled in a creamy garlic butter sauce with Parmesan and a slight touch of heat. Simple to make but fancy enough for special meals.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb steak, sirloin cut
02 - 3 minced garlic cloves
03 - 12 ounces of linguine pasta
04 - 2 tablespoons of butter

→ For the Sauce

05 - 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan
06 - 1/2 cup of rich cream

→ Seasonings

07 - 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red chili flakes
08 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
09 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt

# Steps:

01 - Prepare the linguine in salted boiling water as the package suggests. Drain water and leave the pasta aside.
02 - Put a tablespoon of butter in a hot skillet. Sprinkle pepper and salt on the steak, cook each side for 3-4 minutes or until medium-rare. Let it rest and then slice thin pieces.
03 - With the same skillet, toss in the second tablespoon of butter. Sauté the garlic for a minute until you notice a nice smell.
04 - Pour cream into the pan along with Parmesan, red flakes, and black pepper. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes to thicken a bit.
05 - Put the cooked linguine in the pan, stirring so all the pasta gets well-coated with the creamy sauce.
06 - Serve the noodles on plates and arrange the sliced steak on top. Enjoy while it's hot.

# Notes:

01 - Chop some fresh basil or parsley for a final touch.
02 - You could swap linguine for something like spaghetti or fettuccine.
03 - Like it spicier? Increase the red chili flakes.
04 - A little white wine added to the sauce makes it taste even better.
