Juicy beef mixed with a savory-sweet combo of garlic butter, honey, and BBQ spices, all wrapped in cozy tortillas with the toppings you enjoy most.

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Mixture

01 - 1 pound of ground beef
02 - 2 tablespoons of butter (unsalted)
03 - 2 minced garlic cloves
04 - 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
05 - 2 tablespoons of honey
06 - 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
07 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional if you want heat)
08 - Salt and pepper to season as needed

→ Toppings and Shells

09 - 8 small tortillas, either flour or corn
10 - 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
11 - 1/2 cup of chopped lettuce
12 - 1/2 cup of diced fresh tomatoes
13 - 1/4 cup of thinly sliced red onions
14 - Optional: lime wedges, fresh cilantro leaves, sour cream

# Steps:

01 - Place a skillet on medium heat. Toss in the ground beef and stir, breaking it apart into small pieces, until it's brown and cooked through. Remove any extra grease from the pan.
02 - Scoot the browned beef to one side of the skillet. On the empty side, melt the butter and toss in the garlic. Stir it around for about 30 seconds until it smells amazing.
03 - Mix the buttery garlic with the beef. Pour in the BBQ sauce, honey, smoked paprika, and chili powder if you'd like it spicy. Season with salt and pepper, then let it all cook together for a couple of minutes so the flavors blend.
04 - Warm the tortillas by tossing them in a dry skillet on medium heat or wrapping them in foil and putting them in the oven for a bit.
05 - Spoon a generous scoop of the beef mixture onto each tortilla. Pile on cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions, and any extras you want.
06 - Serve your tacos right away with lime wedges to squeeze on top for a bit of zing.

# Notes:

01 - Swap the beef for ground turkey or chicken to lighten things up.
02 - Pick a spicy or smoky BBQ sauce if you want bolder flavor.
03 - Add sliced avocado or drizzle ranch dressing for a creamy twist.
