Easy Freezer Sandwich (Printable Version)

Enjoy morning sandwiches you can make ahead! Fluffy eggs, sausage, and cheesy goodness inside buttery toasted muffins.

# Ingredients:

→ Sausage Patties

01 - 1 pound mild breakfast sausage, ground
02 - 1 pound ground beef
03 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
07 - Half a teaspoon of red pepper flakes

→ Egg Mixture

08 - 12 eggs, large
09 - 1 teaspoon white pepper
10 - 1 teaspoon salt
11 - A quarter cup of milk, optional for fluffier texture

→ Sandwich Essentials

12 - 6 slices of cheese
13 - 6 English muffins
14 - Two tablespoons of melted butter
15 - Optional: syrup for extra sweetness

# Steps:

01 - Whisk together eggs, seasoning, and milk in a mixing bowl. Layer a parchment-lined baking dish (33x23 cm or 13x9 in) with the mixture, then put it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) to bake for around 20 minutes.
02 - Mix the beef, sausage, and seasoning in one bowl. Shape into big patties, 5-6 ounces each. Cook the patties in a skillet with a little oil—cook 5 to 6 minutes per side. Make them slightly wider than the muffins since they'll shrink as they cook.
03 - Spread melted butter on the muffins, and toast them in a pan. Drizzle with syrup if you'd like a sweet touch.
04 - Grab a muffin, stack a patty, a square of cheese, and some baked egg on one half. Top with the other muffin half.
05 - Wrap each one in parchment—or use plastic wrap—then pop everything in a resealable freezer bag for later.
