Fish Slider Bites (Printable Version)

Golden fish in soft buns with homemade tangy tartar. A quick and delicious pick for any time.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 12 dinner rolls or slider buns
02 - 9-12 breaded fish patties or filets (use store-bought or homemade, depending on size)
03 - 12 slices of cheddar or American cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted

→ Tartar Sauce

05 - ¾ cup mayo
06 - 1 tablespoon juice from a lemon
07 - ½ cup minced dill or sweet pickles, or sweet relish
08 - ½ tablespoon dry dill (cut down to ¼ tablespoon if dill pickles are used)

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cover two baking sheets with parchment or foil.
02 - Mix mayo, relish, dill, and lemon juice together in a small bowl until smooth. Pop it in the fridge to keep cool.
03 - Lay out the breaded fish patties on a baking sheet and cook them as directed on the package.
04 - Put the buns on the second sheet and brush some melted butter on top. Let them warm in the oven for about 2-3 minutes.
05 - Take the buns out of the oven and carefully slice them through the middle. Set aside the tops.
06 - Add a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Place the baked fish patties on top of the cheese. Spread the chilled tartar sauce evenly over the fish. Finally, put the top buns back on.
07 - Cut the sliders apart and serve them right away. Enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Want extra crunch? Toast the buns by broiling them for 1-2 minutes instead of just warming.
