Creamy Fettuccine (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 oz of fettuccine

→ Creamy Sauce

02 - 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
03 - 1.5 cups of whole milk
04 - 4 ounces of softened cream cheese
05 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
06 - 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
07 - 1/2 tsp of dried Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 tsp of fine sea salt
09 - 1/4 tsp of black pepper (optional)
10 - 1 cup of shredded Parmesan

→ Toppings

11 - Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Put the butter, milk, and cream cheese in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir gently while they combine into a creamy mixture. Add the chopped garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and optional pepper. Keep whisking until the sauce has a smooth texture. Sprinkle in the Parmesan and mix well.
02 - Turn down the heat and let the sauce simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Stir occasionally until it thickens nicely.
03 - Fill a big pot with water, add a good pinch of salt, and bring it to a boil. Toss in the pasta and cook until it's just the right texture or as the package suggests. Save 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
04 - Drain your pasta noodles, then combine them with the creamy sauce. Bit by bit, pour in the reserved pasta water to make the sauce extra silky and help it coat the pasta perfectly.
05 - Top your pasta dish with a sprinkle of parsley, serve it up, and enjoy a cozy meal.
