Pizza Cups (Printable Version)

Fun and tasty mini pizzas baked in muffin tins using crescent dough, sauce, melty cheese, and toppings like pepperoni for a cool pizza twist.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust Layer

01 - 8 oz (1 tube) refrigerated crescent dough
02 - Cooking spray to grease the muffin tin

→ Topping Choices

03 - ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - ½ cup tomato-based pizza sauce
05 - 30-40 small pepperoni slices or any topping you enjoy

→ Flavor Add-Ons

06 - ⅛ tsp Italian herb mix
07 - ⅛ tsp garlic powder for extra flavor

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F and spray 8 cups in a muffin tin with plenty of cooking spray. This keeps things from sticking.
02 - Pull apart the crescent dough into 8 pieces. Gently flatten each piece and press them into the muffin cups, making sure the edges go up the sides.
03 - Sprinkle a little garlic powder into each dough-lined cup, then toss in a small pinch of mozzarella.
04 - Add about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each cup. Don’t overfill or you might end up with soggy cupcakes.
05 - Layer more mozzarella over the sauce, a dash of Italian seasoning, and your choice of mini pepperoni or other toppings.
06 - Pop them in the oven for 10 minutes until the edges are nice and golden, and the cheese is deliciously gooey.
07 - Wait 2-3 minutes before taking them out of the muffin tin. This little pause helps them hold their shape.
08 - They’re best eaten warm when the cheese is melty. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or fun meal.

# Notes:

01 - Too much sauce can make them soggy, so go easy on it.
02 - Coat your muffin tin well with spray to stop sticking.
03 - Let them sit for a couple of minutes before picking them out to keep them intact.
04 - Feel free to get creative with toppings—try mushrooms, olives, or sausage!
