Over medium, heat butter until it’s golden. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to cool.

Whisk together the cooled butter with both sugars for 3 minutes. Mix in the egg and whisk once more.

Blend in the baking powder, then switch to a spatula and gently fold the flour in.

Once the dough has cooled, gently stir in the chocolate chips.

Set the oven to 350°F (180°C). Separate the dough into 4 portions.

Put half the dough into the bottom of each ramekin, pressing it flat and making a shallow dent. Spoon 1 tbsp of Nutella inside, then cover with the rest of the dough, sealing the edges together.

Top with extra chocolate chips if you'd like. Bake for 15 minutes, until golden but still soft in the middle.

Let them rest 5–8 minutes. Serve with a scoop of ice cream while warm.
