01 -
Cook the onion and ground meat in a big skillet over medium heat. Stir while breaking the meat into small pieces, and drain any grease when done.
02 -
Add in the shredded cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Cook until everything's mixed and gooey. Let it cool for a bit after removing it from the heat.
03 -
Scoop 2 tablespoons of the filling and plop it in the center of a wrapper. Tuck the bottom corner over, fold the sides in, and roll up snugly. Dab a bit of egg along the top to seal.
04 -
Warm your oil in a deep pan or fryer until it hits 350°F (175°C). You want the oil deep enough to fully submerge the rolls.
05 -
Pop the rolls into the hot oil, but don’t overcrowd them. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy and golden all around.
06 -
Lift the rolls out with a slotted spoon and let them rest on paper towels to soak up extra oil. Enjoy them hot with your favorite dipping sauce, like mustard, ketchup, or a special blend.
