Turn on your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease up a 9×13-inch dish lightly.

Follow the package directions to cook the pasta until it's al dente. Drain it and set it aside.

In a big skillet over medium-high heat, cook the beef with the onion until the meat's browned, which takes about 5-7 minutes. Toss in the garlic and keep cooking for another minute or two. Get rid of any grease.

Add the diced tomatoes (juice included), the mushroom soup, beef broth, sour cream, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into the pan. Let it all simmer together for 5-7 minutes to bring the flavors together.

Stir the cooked pasta shells into the beef and sauce, making sure everything’s evenly mixed.

Dump the pasta-beef mix into the greased casserole dish. Scatter the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses across the top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese gets all melty and bubbly.
