Cran Apple Crumble (Printable Version)

A cozy dessert blending tart berries and sweet apples with a crisp oat top. Great for holidays or chilly evenings!

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 medium apples, chopped into small pieces (about 4 cups)
02 - 1 cup cranberries, rinsed
03 - ½ cup white sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
07 - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch

→ Topping

08 - 1 cup rolled oats
09 - ½ cup plain flour
10 - ½ cup packed brown sugar
11 - ¼ teaspoon salt
12 - ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
13 - ½ cup chilled butter, cut into small chunks

# Steps:

01 - Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly coat a 9-inch dish with a little butter or oil.
02 - Mix the chopped apples, cranberries, sugar, spices, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a bowl. Evenly spread the mixture into your dish.
03 - Combine oats, flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Work in the butter until it looks like crumbs. Scatter it over the apple mixture.
04 - Let it bake for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top. Set aside for 10 minutes to cool a bit before serving.
