Sweet Tropical Bite (Printable Version)

Enjoy a soft and flavorful cake made with sweetened condensed milk and crushed pineapple. Perfectly tangy, sweet, and satisfying in every mouthful.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
03 - 1 tsp baking powder
04 - 3 large eggs
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
06 - ½ cup melted butter
07 - 1 ½ cups drained, crushed pineapple
08 - A small pinch of salt

# Steps:

01 - Bring your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or place a liner in a square 9×9-inch pan.
02 - In a big mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, condensed milk, vanilla extract, and the drained crushed pineapple until everything's nice and smooth.
03 - In a second bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine the dry mix with the wet one, just until they're mixed—don't overdo it.
04 - Pour your batter into the greased pan and spread it out as evenly as you can.
05 - Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes. It's done when the top is golden and a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean.
06 - Wait for the cake to fully cool off before cutting it into 9 pieces and serving.

# Notes:

01 - For added flavor, toss in some citrus zest or sprinkle shredded coconut on top.
02 - You can swap the canned pineapple for fresh, but finely chop and drain it first.
03 - Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days out of the fridge or about a week if refrigerated.
04 - Tastes great warm or chilled—try it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
