Swirled Berry-Chocolate Delight (Printable Version)

Decadent chocolate cream cheese filling mixed with fresh strawberries, set on a chocolatey cookie base, and finished with ganache and berries.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
02 - 2 cups of crushed chocolate cookies (roughly 20 cookies worth)

→ Filling

03 - 1 cup sugar (granulated)
04 - 3 softened cream cheese bricks (230g total)
05 - A half-cup of sour cream
06 - 3 eggs, large
07 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla
08 - Half a cup of melted chocolate or chocolate sauce
09 - 1 cup of fresh, sliced strawberries

→ Garnish

10 - 8 to 10 strawberries, halved or whole
11 - Half a cup of chocolate ganache

# Steps:

01 - Combine crushed cookies and melted butter, press into a 9-inch spring pan. Bake it at 325°F for 8 minutes and cool.
02 - Whisk cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time. Then mix in sour cream and vanilla.
03 - Spread half the filling over the crust. Sprinkle strawberry slices and chocolate, then cover with remaining filling. Swirl gently with a knife.
04 - Put in a water bath, bake for 60-70 minutes at 325°F. Leave in oven an hour to cool, then chill for 4+ hours in the fridge.
05 - Before eating, finish with chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries on top.

# Notes:

01 - Cream cheese works best at room temp.
02 - A water bath helps stop cracks.
03 - Overnight chilling gives the best result.
