Quick Chocolate Strawberries (Printable Version)

Ripe strawberries coated in silky chocolate with optional crunchy toppings. Sweet and simple, ideal for celebrations or date nights.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 8 ounces dark chocolate chips
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - 2 tablespoons coconut oil
04 - 1 pound fresh strawberries

→ Optional

05 - 1/4 cup crushed nuts

# Steps:

01 - Make sure the strawberries are clean and completely dry before starting.
02 - Put chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl safe for microwaves. Heat for 30 seconds at a time, mixing in between until it's creamy.
03 - Mix the vanilla into the melted chocolate blend until well combined.
04 - Coat each strawberry in the chocolate, shake off the extra, and add crushed nuts if you’d like.
05 - Set the strawberries on a parchment-lined surface and pop them in the fridge for at least half an hour to let the chocolate firm up.

01 - Strawberries work best at room temperature.
02 - Try using milk or white chocolate if you want variety.
03 - Make sure your bowl has no moisture in it.
