Set your oven to 425°F to preheat. Place parchment paper on a baking tray and keep it ready.

Combine the shredded chicken, garlic powder, ¼ cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan, and egg in a large bowl. Mix everything really well.

Spread the chicken mixture on the baking tray. Flatten it into a circle about ¼ inch thick.

Pop the base into the oven for 15 minutes. It should look golden and dry on top, not damp.

Pull the tray out of the oven. Spread the pizza sauce evenly across the crust and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over it.

Layer the pepperoni and basil over the cheese. Put it back into the oven for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
