# Ingredients:

→ Beef Mixture

01 - 1/2 cup beef broth
02 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
03 - 1 lb ground beef
04 - 1/2 onion, diced
05 - Salt and pepper as needed
06 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
07 - 1/2 tsp dried thyme
08 - 1/2 tsp paprika
09 - 2 tbsp tomato paste
10 - 2 garlic cloves, minced

→ Cheddar Biscuit Layer

11 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
12 - 1/4 tsp salt
13 - 1 tbsp baking powder
14 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
15 - 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley (optional)
16 - 1/2 cup whole milk
17 - 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
18 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder

→ Optional Garlic Butter

19 - 1/4 tsp garlic powder
20 - 1 tsp minced parsley
21 - 2 tbsp melted butter

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease your baking dish lightly.
02 - Brown the ground beef in a hot skillet. Toss in diced onion and garlic; cook until soft. Mix in thyme, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and broth. Let it gently simmer and thicken for around 5 minutes. Melt in the cheese, then pour into the greased dish.
03 - Combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl. Using a fork or pastry tool, blend in the butter until it forms small crumbs. Add the cheddar and milk, stirring just enough to form a sticky dough.
04 - Spoon dollops of the dough on top of the beef, gently spreading but leaving a few open spots. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the biscuits turn golden brown.
05 - Combine melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush this over the warm biscuit top. Cool slightly for 5 minutes, then dig in and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Throw in frozen veggies to give the beef layer extra texture.
02 - Substitute the beef with either sausage or ground turkey if you like.
03 - For some heat, mix in jalapeños or add hot sauce to the meat.
04 - Pop leftovers into either the oven or air fryer to reheat perfectly.
