Eggy Brownie Treats (Printable Version)

Rich brownies topped with layered white and yellow creams that look like the inside of Cadbury Eggs, finished with a glossy chocolate topping.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can Chocolate Frosting, Creamy Style
02 - Yellow Gel Food Coloring
03 - 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
04 - 3 cups Powdered Sugar
05 - 1/4 cup Butter, room temperature
06 - 1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
07 - 1 box Brownie Mix (Dark Chocolate), plus ingredients listed on box

# Steps:

01 - Follow the package directions to bake brownies in an 8x8 pan lined with parchment. Let them cool fully.
02 - Beat together the corn syrup, butter, and vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until blended.
03 - Mix yellow food coloring into half the filling in a separate bowl. Spread evenly over brownies, then chill for 15 minutes.
04 - Spread the remaining white filling smoothly on top of the yellow layer. Chill for another 15 minutes.
05 - Microwave the frosting for 30 seconds to soften. Stir and pour about 2/3 of it on top of the brownies.
