In a big bowl, bring together the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, onion, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything well, then shape it all into four oval-shaped patties.

Warm the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the patties in and let them cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden and crusty. Take them out and put them aside.

Toss the mushroom slices into the same pan and cook them for about 3-4 minutes until they soften up.

Dust the flour evenly over the mushrooms while you mix. Slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly to keep it smooth. Let the liquid begin to bubble.

Slide the patties back into the pan, cover, and let them stew for 10-15 minutes while the gravy thickens up nicely.

Lay the patties on a serving plate, spoon some mushroom gravy on top, and sprinkle parsley for a fresh finish.
