01 -
Turn your oven on and heat it up to 450°F.
02 -
Mix ¾ cup of blueberries with 2 tbsp sugar in a small dish. Leave it to sit for now.
03 -
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, and the remaining tbsp of sugar.
04 -
Gently stir the buttermilk into the dry mixture until it's mostly combined. Be careful not to overdo it.
05 -
Carefully stir the sugared blueberries into the dough, adding any juices from the sugar mixture as well.
06 -
Pour the melted butter into an 8×8-inch baking pan. Spread the dough on top so it fills the whole dish.
07 -
Lightly mark the dough into 9 even squares (a 3×3 grid). Sprinkle on the rest of the blueberries. Bake in the oven for 30 to 32 minutes until the tops are golden.
08 -
While the biscuits bake, mix milk and powdered sugar together in a medium bowl. Add a bit more milk if it feels too thick.
09 -
Take the biscuits out once baked. Give them time to fully cool before drizzling the glaze on top. Slice along the pre-cut marks and enjoy!
