BBQ Sliders (Printable Version)

Tender BBQ chicken, melted cheddar, and slaw on warm garlic buns—easy and crowd-pleasing.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie or leftovers are fine)
02 - ¾ cup BBQ sauce (store-bought works too)
03 - 4-6 slices of cheddar cheese or ½ cup shredded cheddar
04 - ½ red onion, sliced thinly
05 - 12 dinner rolls or slider buns

→ Toppings

06 - ½ cup ranch dressing
07 - 2 cups pre-packed coleslaw mix

→ Garlic Butter

08 - 2 tablespoons softened butter
09 - 1 teaspoon dried or chopped fresh parsley
10 - 1 clove garlic, finely grated or minced

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven to heat at 350°F. Line a big baking sheet (or two smaller ones) with foil or parchment for an easy cleanup later.
02 - Carefully cut the buns in half. Put the tops and bottoms side by side on the prepared baking sheet, or separate tops and bottoms onto two different pans.
03 - Combine the BBQ sauce with the shredded chicken in a large mixing bowl until it's well coated. Spread this mix across the bottom halves of the buns.
04 - Sprinkle the sliced onions on the chicken layer, then cover with cheddar slices or a sprinkling of shredded cheese.
05 - Melt the butter in a small dish, then mix in the minced garlic and parsley. Brush this gentle mix over the tops of the buns.
06 - Pop the tray in the oven for 3-5 minutes until the cheese turns gooey and the bun tops get a nice toast.
07 - Stir the coleslaw and ranch dressing in a large bowl until it’s coated evenly.
08 - Take the tray from the oven. Place the coleslaw evenly on top of the melted cheese layer. Cap with the toasted bun tops. Slice into sliders or pull apart and serve right away.

# Notes:

01 - Keep the coleslaw and ranch chilled for a fresher taste when serving.
