Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan with oil or cooking spray.

Slice the croissants in half lengthwise. On the bottom half of each, layer half a cheese slice, followed by ham, then top with another half slice of cheese. Replace the top of the croissant.

In a small bowl, stir together the soft butter, mustard, honey, and Worcestershire until it’s creamy.

Take the butter mixture and spread it evenly inside each croissant sandwich.

Arrange the croissant sandwiches snugly into the greased baking pan.

Mix egg white with a little water in a small bowl. Brush this egg wash on top of the croissants and sprinkle them with poppy seeds.

Pop the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until the tops are nice and golden, and the cheese is gooey.

Take them out of the oven and serve them hot.
