Golden Fried Shrimp (Printable Version)

Golden, crunchy shrimp made in the air fryer with bold sriracha mayo. A lightweight twist on deep frying that tastes amazing.

# Ingredients:

→ Spicy Mayo

01 - 1/4 cup mayo
02 - 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
03 - Salt as needed
04 - 1/2 tbsp sriracha (or up to 1 tbsp, as you like)
05 - 1 minced garlic clove

→ Crispy Shrimp

06 - 1/2 cup plain flour
07 - 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and cleaned
08 - 1 tbsp Old Bay spice mix
09 - Cooking oil spray (works in air fryers)
10 - 1 cup panko crumbs
11 - 2 whisked large eggs

# Steps:

01 - Combine mayo, hot sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and a pinch of salt. Chill until ready to eat.
02 - In the first dish, stir together flour and seasoning. Put eggs in the second container and whisk them well. Fill the third dish with panko crumbs.
03 - Make sure shrimp is dry. Roll in flour mixture, dip in egg, and cover in breadcrumbs, pressing them on gently.
04 - Spritz shrimp and fryer basket with cooking spray. Air fry at 400°F for 6-8 minutes, or until nicely crisp and golden.

# Notes:

01 - Use gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs instead for a GF version
02 - To make it keto, switch to almond flour and ground pork rinds
03 - Keep space between shrimp in the fryer for even cooking
