Breakfast Roll Ups Air Fryer (Printable Version)

Eggs, cheese, and sausage stuffed inside flaky dough, air fried to a golden crisp, and finished with a sweet buttery maple glaze.

# Ingredients:

→ Soft Egg Filling

01 - 3 large-sized eggs
02 - A pinch of kosher salt and pepper (adjust to taste)
03 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, split in half
04 - 2 tablespoons milk

→ Stuffed Rolls

05 - 4 slices of Colby Jack cheese, halved
06 - 8 maple-flavored breakfast sausage links, already cooked
07 - 1 package of crescent roll dough (refrigerated)

→ Sweet Butter Topping

08 - 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

# Steps:

01 - Break the eggs into a bowl, pour in the milk, and sprinkle with a little kosher salt and pepper. Use a fork and whisk until it’s all mixed up.
02 - Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Pour in the egg mix and stir slowly for 3-4 minutes until they’re creamy but still a bit soft. Put aside to cool awhile.
03 - Take the crescent dough out of the tube and break it into 8 triangles. Spread them flat on your workspace.
04 - Scoop a little scrambled egg onto the wide end of each triangle, layer it with a sausage link, then top it with half a cheese slice. Roll it up, starting at the wider end.
05 - Lay the rolled-up crescents seam-side down inside your air fryer basket. Bake them at 370°F for about 7-9 minutes, or until they’re crispy and golden.
06 - While the rolls cook, melt the leftover tablespoon of butter and stir in the maple syrup. This mixture will be your glaze.
07 - A couple of minutes before the rolls are done, brush on the glaze for a shiny, caramelized finish.
08 - Let the rolls sit for 2-3 minutes after removing them from the air fryer. They’re best served hot when the cheese is gooey.

01 - Using precooked sausage links saves time, but raw ones can be air fried at 370°F for 9-10 minutes.
02 - Adding too much filling can lead to messy rolls or leaks while cooking, so go easy.
